Hee Jin - Love her or hate her?

her english is natural bcoz she's born and brought up in Australia. she's like half an Australian. what's so special about an Australian who can speak English? whereas Suna unnie only studied in the US for a few yrs and she could speak good English, now that is talent.

oh i thought JRW was born in korea then migrated in australia.... yah, nothing special abt JRW at all. the only one thing that i like abt her is now gone. LOL! Laughing

With all the bias i have for Sam Soon, i would definitely hate her! Most of the time she is the reason (or her actions were the reasons) why Sam Soon is crying or heartbroken...

But looking at things from her perspective (and disregarding the existence of Sam Soon), i sympathize with her. It must be really hard to be in her situation. She is our typical heroine. Trying to go back to the love of her live, but she found out that he does not love her anymore and there's another woman. Crying or Very sad

And imagine all the things she went through and how she bravely fought with her disease alone...

But having this character opposite the character of Sam Soon is one of the many things that i really commend the scriptwriter. A stand-alone Hee Jin would gather so much sympathy from viewers. But Hee Jin together with Sam Soon creates so much contradictions and comparisons that made us hate Hee Jin. Hee Jin side by side with Sam Soon would show how weak, immature and self-centered Hee Jin is.

Agree! For Jeong Ryeo Won, i don't fancy her but i don't hate her. I don't have any rights to judge her acting since i've never seen her in any other projects aside from MNIKSS. But based from her acting in MNIKSS, she did a great job. She lived the character of Hee Jin. She is effective since a lot of people hated the character.
And yes I love her character because if Hee Jin didn't exist in the series, then my favorite scenes will not happen (*my favorite scenes are all the scenes where Sam Soon cried!*)

very interesting...

reminds me of what samsoon said to samshik in the show - that we all see another person thru our own eyes and perspectives, and so we do not really know that person in an objective way.

no offence meant, but the many posts here declaring dislike toward HJ are exactly that - seeing her thru one's own subjective lenses.

i have a funny uncle who always commented when watching shows, "the actor does this and that becos the director told him to what!"

haha.... in this case, HJ is simply a created character in the script and she did what she did simply becos the script is written thus! Smile
